from skye to the golden road
You know how sometimes you just pop off some shots of a view then move on? This was the opposite! I was standing just soaking in the glory of the view for so long, that I forgot to take any shots, then suddenly I was aware that it was going to be dull and grey as this cloud shadow moved over the foreground, so had to rush to grab this! One of my personal favourites of this year, taken last week.
The Golden Road is a magical twisty, single-track road that links all the little houses just visible  as white spots on that sunlit coast over there on the east side of Harris (the white spots on foreground Skye are sheep!)
