accommodation with outdoor bath
Two fine examples of the British male's favourite escape route- his shed! Actually, the one on the left is a typical loom shed.
To comply with regulations, all genuine Harris Tweed has to be woven by hand and it is all woven by men in sheds just like this. Only quite recently did the width of the looms increase from 27 inches to the new double-width 54 inch fabrics, and many smaller sheds like this one were too small to fit the wider looms in and the sheds are falling into disrepair.
