Well what can i say , fantastic David. did it hurt you to do this .I think you should send me a signed print of this.
David from the Hebrides: Ha! Thanks for the inspiration Mick! smile I don't normally do this degree of tweakery, so I've kept the RAW file safe just in case!
Rather good, David! You know it makes perfect sense to tweak this & that...smile
David from the Hebrides: Thanks Dave- not my usual, but it seemed right at the time....!

White Heather looks as if she is ready to take her Captain to the ends of the earth, if he so desires.

Beautifully done.
David from the Hebrides: Many thanks Kathryn- I think this boat has been there and back again many times and retired now!

this is awesome! looks like i can grab that rope. very well done with the processing. wish i knew the first thing about doing this sort of thing!
David from the Hebrides: Many thanks Alex- I reckon over-processing can look crude- this is as far as I have ever taken one!

This is excellent!

Haha, actually looked like Michael's work for a second
David from the Hebrides: Thanks Stan. My tribute to the master! He would have had a black sky though! wink

I never thought I'd see the day that you tweaked! I have to say the result is rather good - I have no idea how to get this sort of effect myself. It could be a bit addictive!
Ingrid
David from the Hebrides: Thanks Ingrid, but I'm not telling you because we couldn't have all the good practice you have learned at college spoiled by cheap trickery- stick to purist principles! wink
I don't care what "twiddling" you have done David, it is a very impressive picture.
David from the Hebrides: Thanks Brian- being "old school" I usually let the original stand on it's own merits but I enjoyed having a go here for a change!
Excellent David even with a bit of tweaking!
David from the Hebrides: Thanks Bernie- we all need a little tweak every so often, don't we?! smile
Tweaked and twiddled to good effect David. I think it is good to experiment and test the reaction to the results. Over doing it can look awful..I should know! I cringe at some of mine!
David from the Hebrides: Thanks Bill- I'm genuinely surprised at the reaction to this one which, to be honest was me trying to lift an image I was annoyed at myself for not getting better at the time of taking it!

You've almost got a 3D effect here. Confess to minimum tweaking and say it was all a trick of the ligh!
David from the Hebrides: Thanks Sheila- I'm too honest for such skulduggery!

I think you judged the amount of tweaking perfectly David and the result goes straight into my Likeys
David from the Hebrides: I'm honoured by your compliment Paul- many thanks, and perhaps I should twiddle more often?! smile
Nicely done! A likey.
David from the Hebrides: Many thanks RP!
As good as, if not better, than some Fylde Coasters I have seen in the past, you have set the bar quite high here. Well seen.
David from the Hebrides: Beginner's luck?! wink Actually I know how to use the tweaks (in fact, I used to teach it!!) but am usually loath to spoil a natural look.
