photoblog image Sligachan dawn

Sligachan dawn

Amazing effect- the mountain is casting a shadow of itself on to the low cloud surrounding it from the very low, early-morning sun behind. Very cold view of the Red Cuillin.

David from the Hebrides: Thanks Aussie, and all the best for 2008 to you and yours. I bet it is 40 degrees warmer where you are right now! smile

Looks lovely. You never have a lack of wonderful subjects to shoot smile
Must have looked fantastic - it looks as though the mountain has a hat on.
What's the huge rut past the foreground boulder?
David from the Hebrides: Thanks Andy- the Cuillins are certainly a great source of beautiful scenery on my doorstep. I'm a walker rather than climber though, so I'm never quite certain what individual peaks and troughs are!
