300! Congratulations David!

And what an image to celebrate with! That frosted grass to the fore is wonderful and boy, doesn't that shade of blue make me feel cold!
David from the Hebrides: I had just taken a white balance on the pleasant sunny bit, so this is how the frost can out so blue!
Crikey- I hadn't noticed the 300!! Is it time for a retrospective?!wink
Superb frosty color.
David from the Hebrides: Many thanks RP!

Haven't noticed 300?! Some people can't wait to get there.
Hope to see a separate shot of this grass only. Absolutely mesmerizing.

David from the Hebrides: Thanks VZ- I did take others, so I will post them in January!
I agree the grass is gorgeous, draws you into the picture to.
Happy 300th!
David from the Hebrides: Many thanks Nigel!
Stunning 300th shot! Love the texture of the grass - it looks like it is slithering towards me. (:o)
David from the Hebrides: Many thanks Rosalyn- you have a vivid imagination!

Wow wow wow....stunning. The entire photograph is just amazing. It has such mood to it that it makes me want to be there, feel the coldness of the grass, and hear its crunch.
David from the Hebrides: Thanks Kathryn- you are so right, the grass was deep and crunchy- it was like walking on toasted bread!
Superb frosty and sun picture!
David from the Hebrides: Thanks for the compliment, Richard.
The foreground is very nice. I just wished the background would also have a little more detail (the mountains and the sky).
David from the Hebrides: Thanks Silviu- you are quite right, it would have been so much better with some sky detail!

Love the shot David. Spooky thing is I took a few shots of some frosted seaweed this morning too, only the sun wasn't really shining.
Really like the Ying and Yang of the shots feel
David from the Hebrides: Thanks Andy- Ying and Yang eh! there's another one tomorrow that I took this morning!
Must have been cold david, good contrast in the picture.

Congratulations on keeping it up for 300 images as well.
David from the Hebrides: Thanks Les- yes, a bit nippy round the knuckles! but a lovely place for a walk.

Brrr! Fresh capture, idea and amazing, what time you have been there to see it before sun reached it??
David from the Hebrides: Many thanks Monika- in many glens the sun never gets to one side all day- this was quite late, about 11am

Great contrast between foreground image and background, and it all ties together nicely. I love the texture in this photo!
